Description

This car is a 1972 Porsche 911. It started as a very clean tub that was rust free and straight and was modified in the early 2000’s to a time trial car by Mat Lowrance. A Porsche 993 rear subframe was grafted in to the rear of the chassis as an upgrade to the rear suspension. Along with that it received a complete 993 turbo brake kit front and rear and a Tilton dual master cylinder brake and pedal system. The front suspension uses custom torsion bars with spherical control arm bushings. This car was completely refreshed and painted with new engine and fresh transmission in 2021 and has about 4000 street miles since completion. The body is all factory steel except the front bumper, rear bumper and rear duck tail. The car is finished in Nardo Grey with all new seals and rubber. The interior is all new custom black carpeting with black leather seats, new factory dash, RS door panels, headliner and custom gauges.

Engine- This is a 3.6 liter with Pauter rods, GT3 oil pump, mahle pistons, DC43 camshafts, 964 heads with ASSCO springs, headers with heater boxes and custom exhaust. The intake has custom AT Power individual throttle bodies mated to a modified 964 plenum which is ducted to twin electric turbo chargers. The engine is support by a water methanol injection system. It is controlled by a Haltech ECU. The motor uses a factory twin plug distributor and MSD ignition boxes. The engine makes approximately 400 rear wheel HP in boost.

Transmission- The car has a very rare 1 year only Porsche G50/50 transmission. This is a 5 speed turbo transmission and is upgraded with a new Guard differential, custom gear ratios and steel synchros.

The car uses Porsche 993 GT2 rear axles to handle the extra power.

Custom Braid wheels in 17×9 and 11 with new Toyo tires
