Description
This car is a low mileage 1973 Porsche 911 E with not rust or damage. It underwent an extensive restoration in 2022. It received RS steel rear fenders was stripped and painted and had a fresh 2.8 liter engine and 915 transmission installed. The car has been used as a street car since and has been driven roughly 300 miles since the restoration was completed.
This car has significant upgrades and was built by Mat Lowrance. It was designed to be a light weight car with ideal weight distribution and mechanical improvements to optimize its performance. The car weighs 2050 pounds and uses the magnesium 2.7 engine case paired with a 993 mid mount oil tank to create excellent weight distribution. The front bumper, rear bumper and rear duck tail are composite.
Engine: 2.8 liter 9.8 compression, GE 60 camshafts, 7R shuffle pinned case, time serted and boat tailed. 964 oil pump, crower rods, J&E pistons, Asse valve springs with titanium retainers. Headers and custom laguna seca muffler. Estimate engine makes 265 HP.
Transmission: 915 with Guard LSD, 7/31 ring and pinion and upgraded sliders etc for track use.
Suspension: The front suspension consists of ERP 935 arms with elephant racing front struts, raised spindles, coil over springs and bilstein custom valved shocks. The rear suspension consists of adjustable rear spring plates with raised pick up points, custom valved fox shocks, coil over springs and mono ball trailing arm bushings.
Brakes: Front brakes are Porsche 930 front calipers Cayman S rear calipers and light weight front and rear rotors.
Interior: the car has a standard black carpet kit, black recaro seats, new factory seat belts, new factory dash, removable momo steering wheel, RS door panels and a new black headliner. Wevo shifter.
