This is the same design engine found in the 911k car built by Tuthill with the ability to rev to 11,000 rpm. The heads are designed by Swindon Motorsport in the UK. This motor was designed as a race engine for a race car and was used to research the limits to make the design safe for proper use. The bottom end uses a bored Porsche engine case, GT3 crankshaft 76.4 stroke, GT3 oil pump and steel drive gear, coated bearings, and custom lightweight steel rods designed by Carrillo. This engine uses a flat top custom lightweight piston and wrist pin designed by CP with current compression at 13/1. Exhaust is a custom lightweight stainless stepped header that exits to a 3 inch secondary pipe to support exhaust flow at 11,000 rpm. The heads were bored and and designed by Swindon to suit at larger displacement engine. The original heads were designed for a 3.0 liter motor for the 911k. The induction system uses Porsche GT3 RS intake manifolds and fuel rails mated to custom AT Power independent shaftless throttle bodies. The engine has a mill spec motorsports harness connected to a Haltech ECU. The engine is currently in Race configuration and can be used as is with supplemental fuel or can be reconfigured back to a pump gas design for additional cost.
